BAM! is taking part in the third EDI Global Forum

By 21 April 2026No Comments

From 18 to 20 March 2026, we will be taking part in the third EDI Global Forum – Education Integration in Naples at the Fondazione Morra Greco. One of the foremost international events dedicated to innovation in museum education and the role of cultural institutions in engaging audiences, the event will bring together an international network of museums, universities, artists, researchers and educators (involving ninety-four museums and twenty-three countries).

An international forum on cultural education

EDI Global Forum is a platform for dialogue between cultural institutions from around the world working in the fields of museum education and cultural mediation.

The programme will include three days of panels, workshops and collaborative sessions focused on sharing practices and strategies in the field of cultural education.

The theme for 2026 – Fostering sensibility and critical thinking in the digital age – invites us to reflect on one of the most pressing challenges facing cultural institutions: developing the critical skills needed to interpret images in a context characterised by the rapid circulation of visual content, artificial intelligence and the spread of misinformation.

BAM!’s contribution

BAM!’s participation represents an important opportunity to engage with an international network of professionals and cultural institutions on issues related to evaluation, learning and professional development in the cultural sector.
During the Forum, BAM! will be responsible for running the Critical Corner, a space dedicated to systematically collecting participants’ perceptions, feedback and contributions. This will enable us to analyse the experience of this year’s event, identifying its strengths and potential areas for development in the future, and to monitor the learning and professional impact generated by the Forum, helping to consolidate an international network that remains active even after the event has ended.
The findings will be presented during the Forum’s closing plenary session, which will also include a final discussion with participants on the issues that came up, with the aim of gathering feedback on the consolidation of the international network established through the EDI Global Forum.
