Thursday 6 February at 11:30 a.m. will mark the opening of the Emilia-Romagna and Marche HUB at the Opificio Golinelli, as part of the “Dicolab. Cultura al digitale” project, the new cultural heritage digital transformation training system, promoted by the Ministry of Culture – Digital Library within the scope of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) for Culture 4.0, developed by the Scuola Nazionale del Patrimonio e delle Attività Culturali and funded by the European Union – Next Generation EU.
The event will involve the presentation of the “Dicolab. Cultura al digitale” project, the Emilia-Romagna and Marche HUB and the programme of courses organised by the HUB. G-Lab S.r.l. Impresa Sociale, Fondazione Golinelli, BAM! Strategie Culturali and Sineglossa will be joined by Francesca Neri, from the “Progetti di innovazione e complessi” department of the Scuola Nazionale del Patrimonio e delle Attività Culturali, Cristina Ambrosini, director of the Cultural Heritage Department of the Regione Emilia-Romagna, and the Hub coordination group, made up of Eugenia Ferrara, Federica Romagnoli and Denise Tamborrino.
This will be followed by a talk by Luca Panini, CEO of Franco Cosimo Panini Editore, who will talk about the experience of the Gruppo Panini Cultura which, together with numerous cultural institutes, has started a process of cultural heritage digitisation, to revolutionise access to Italian and international cultural heritage. Antonio Danieli, vice-president and general manager of Fondazione Golinelli, will conclude.
The HUB, run by G-Lab S.r.l. Impresa Sociale, with Fondazione Golinelli, BAM! Strategie Culturali and Sineglossa, will offer a number of in-person further education courses between March 2025 and June 2026, adopting an innovative and hands-on approach. This will be accompanied by networking events for cultural workers, Ministry of Culture and public administration staff, personnel working for firms in the cultural sector, soon-to-be graduates and researchers in the field of cultural heritage.
