The Comune di Ferrara opens call for proposals: digital humanities for heritage promotion

By 15 October 2025No Comments

As part of the European Interreg Europe JEWELS TOUR project, the Comune di Ferrara is launching a call for proposals aimed at local associations, organisations and companies to develop projects that promote culture and the region through digital humanities.

An opportunity to develop new skills, connect with others and explore innovative digital methods for showcasing both tangible and intangible cultural heritage.

A free training and networking programme

The call is open to anyone working in, or keen to experiment with, cultural and tourism promotion using digital technologies, from digitisation and immersive heritage experiences to storytelling, digital cultural tourism, accessibility and inclusion.

The selected organisations will participate in a series of free meetings – online and in person – from November 2025 to March 2026, designed and facilitated by BAM! Strategie Culturali, with the support of the European Projects and International Relations Office and the Culture, Tourism and UNESCO Relations Department of the Comune di Ferrara.

The programme comprises:

  • co-design activities to develop a shared digital promotion project among the participating organisations, to be submitted to a regional call for proposals chosen by the Comune di Ferrara team
  • training and in-depth meetings with experts in the cultural sector
  • networking and skill-sharing opportunities involving organisations, associations and businesses.

BAM! Strategie Culturali will guide participants through cultural co-design methods in the digital sphere, encouraging the sharing of best practices and the development of skills.
