Mosaico Danza is a Turin-based cultural association that has been involved in contemporary dance on a national and international level for more than thirty years. Its numerous activities and projects include Interplay, International Contemporary Dance Festival that brings established and young choreographers to the stage every year. With the backing of the Next Generation You call for proposals, promoted by the Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo, Mosaico Danza decided to embark on an improvement process ranging from organisational and management aspects to fundraising, communication and audience data collection.

Why?
Mosaico Danza expressed the need to rethink and streamline its organisational set-up, its management procedures, its communication, and its team’s expertise, in order to fully achieve its potential to impact the local area, strengthen its network, and reach new audiences. The Mosaico Danza governance and staff therefore chose the Dinamica network, including BAM! together with Ideazione s.r.l. and Melting Pro, as a strategic partner for this new phase of change and renewal.
How?
BAM! supported the Mosaico Danza team with strategic consulting in the field of digital communication and audience data collection.
Starting with a communication analysis, BAM! conducted a strategic workshop to accurately identify needs and objectives, and to be able to draw up consistent communication guidelines that focused on the association’s priority targets. At the same time, the Mosaico Danza staff was guided by BAM! in a capacity-building process to increase their skills in terms of digital channels, copywriting and social advertising.
The last step in this process are the coaching meetings on how to use data collection platforms. Knowing how to construct an audience survey and being able to make a reasoned qualitative and quantitative analysis is fundamental to constructing a cultural offer that takes into account both the association’s objectives and the needs of the various target audiences.
