Palazzo D’Avalos, located in the tiny village of Terra Murata on the island of Procida, is a historic building that has undergone numerous transformations over time: from a stately residence to a military school and later a prison. Closed and abandoned in 1988, the building was entrusted to the Comune di Procida in 2013 and, thanks to a group of volunteers, has been reopened to visitors.
Ecosistema Palazzo D’Avalos is the project, promoted by Immaginaria Cooperativa Sociale Onlus and funded by Fondazione CDP, that seeks to make the most of this beautiful and monumental asset and the great potential it has to offer.
