A development and funding plan for Spiegamelo! Festival della Divulgazione

Spiegamelo! Festival della Divulgazione began life in 2020 in Salsomaggiore Terme (PR) thanks to the collaboration between the start-up Around Srls and the association Salso Coworking, which still looks after the planning and management of the event.

The festival generally takes place on the last weekend of September and is currently in its sixth year. Thanks to funding from the Fondazione Cariparma’s Sostegno (R)esistente 2025 call for proposals, Spiegamelo! Festival has decided to embark on a process of renewal and reorganisation.

The call for proposals aims to support the core activities of beneficiary organisations, with the objective of developing a strategic vision for each and ensuring the long-term sustainability of their projects.

In fact, Sostegno (R)esistente provides funding over a three-year period to cover the services of a strategic advisor, whose role is to guide and support the organisation in implementing its development project. It is within this context that Salso Coworking has selected BAM! Strategie Culturali as a consultant and partner for this strategic renewal process, with the aim of developing a support programme to facilitate the adoption of a new multi-year development and funding plan.

BAM! is therefore developing a plan to support Spiegamelo! Festival in this process of renewal and gradual self-sufficiency, bringing Patrimonio Cultura on board as the partner responsible for drafting the funding plan.

The process begins with a careful analysis of the festival’s positioning and the context in which it takes place, conducted in part through an on-site visit during the event, as well as through discussions, workshops and interviews with the festival team.

The analysis phase enabled the BAM! team to identify the defining characteristics and distinctive features of Spiegamelo!, which form the basis of the Multi-year Development Plan, translating the festival’s new strategic vision into concrete actions.

The implementation of the strategic development plan and the fundraising plan will be supported by periodic training and mentoring sessions, which will progressively guide the festival towards the adoption of audience developement initiatives, based on a tangible, strategic and sustainable vision.
