By 29 April 2025No Comments

Thursday, 17 April, from 9:00 a.m., a new event featuring local institutions and cultural sites

The aim of the meetings, organised by the Istituto Centrale per la Digitalizzazione del Patrimonio Culturale – Digital Library in collaboration with the Scuola Nazionale del Patrimonio e delle Attività Culturali, is to present the strategic vision of the National Plan for the Digitisation of Cultural Heritage (PND), promote a plan for the training and skills development of cultural professionals, and collect best practices in the field of digital transformation.

After Naples, Florence and Turin, we look forward to seeing you in Bologna on Thursday, 17 April 2025, starting at 9:00 a.m., at the Fondazione Golinelli, headquarters of our partner, the Hub Dicolab Emilia-Romagna Marche.

The day is divided into two parts:

  • a public conference in the morning.
  • parallel sessions in the afternoon.

The public conference will present the Digital Library’s initiatives in the field of digital transformation, the strategy of the National Plan for the Digitisation of Cultural Heritage, the digitisation of cultural heritage, the implementation of a training and skills plan (Dicolab) and the Digital Ecosystem for Culture.
The round table discussion “What local networks are needed to build a digital ecosystem for Italian culture?”, coordinated and moderated by Prof. Roberto Balzani, will bring together local stakeholders interested in the issue of digital transformation.

The parallel sessions in the afternoon will instead be given over to exploring topics such as digital service design and the conception and construction of useful solutions for creating digital libraries.

To register for the event, complete the form (and a short survey) at: https://it.surveymonkey.com/r/PNDinviaggio_Bologna.
