A capacity-building programme with local young people to develop the identity of the new youth information service and promote its services.

The Project

“Hub&feeler” is a project, developed in collaboration with ANCI and with support from the Regione Lombardia, aimed at expanding opportunities for young people across the twelve municipalities of the Asola area through the creation of a decentralised youth information service. The initiative was conceived to provide guidance, support and meeting spaces in areas that have, until now, lacked dedicated services.

Promoted by the Comune di Asola, the project leader, the initiative brings together a wide network of partners: Archè Cooperativa Sociale Onlus, Viridiana Cooperativa Sociale, SISAM S.p.A., the Consulta Giovani and the Oratorio di Asola. At its heart is the creation of a youth network to launch a model of direct participation, encouraging individuals aged 15 to 34 to engage in the co-design of services centred on career guidance, wellbeing and active citizenship.

Why?

Within the Asola area, there was a recognised need to establish a decentralised youth information service, capable of providing a structured and accessible service to guide and support young people. The focus extends beyond the creation of spaces and guidance tools to include the activation of participatory and training processes for younger generations, with the aim of fostering the development of sustainable local projects for the future.

All new services within a given area must be publicised. To do so, BAM! was called upon to help create a new visual identity in line with the project’s values and aimed at effectively promoting the new youth information centre, making young people an active part of these processes.

How?

BAM! Strategie Culturali is supporting the Comune di Asola through a capacity-building and strategic support programme aimed at contributing to the development of a decentralised youth information service, with a focus on identity, digital strategy and the active engagement of young people. Through a series of training workshops and webinars for a group of young people selected via the open call “Senza te non si posta”, centred on identity, tone of voice and digital engagement, BAM! is gathering the insights necessary to develop a new brand for the youth information service. At the same time, the capacity-building programme aims to train a small team of young people who will be responsible for online and offline communication for the new youth information centre in Asola.

As a final step, after developing the new brand, BAM! is responsible for creating coordinated graphic materials and guidelines for promoting the service.
