Digital strategy for DESIG*ness

DESIG*ness is an ambitious project that aims to make teaching methods in the Higher Education (HED) system, particularly in Academies of Art and Design, more inclusive and accessible.

The thirty-month project, co-funded by Erasmus+, consists of an international training course for teachers, followed by several workshops and summer schools for students.

DESIG*ness is led by the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti – NABA. In addition to BAM! Strategie Culturali, the partners include the Art Academy of Latvia in Riga (Latvia), the Vilnius Academy of Arts (Lithuania), Cerpa Italia Onlus non-profit organisation in Trento and the Design For All Italia association.

An innovative and experimental European project such as DESIG*ness requires considerable effort when it comes to communication and publicity activities.

The involvement of six partners with different roles, from three different countries, requires a real coordination effort, which is why BAM! is responsible for the communication and publicity work package.

Our contribution began with an analysis of all the partners’ communication channels. We then held a workshop at the kick-off meeting based on the Digital Engagement Framework, with the aim of setting up a shared communication and publicity strategy.

During the first months of activity, BAM! developed a communication manual for all partners, so as to provide the necessary tools for implementing the strategy and monitoring its results.
