Il bando “Cultura per Crescere” promuove il benessere culturale dei bambini nella prima infanzia nell’Area Metropolitana Torinese. Con il sostegno della Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo e di altre istituzioni locali, coinvolge 13 territori, tra cui anche quello del Sistema Bibliotecario dell’Area Metropolitana di Torino (SBAM) ed in particolare i Comuni di Chivasso, Chieri, Moncalieri, Beinasco, Collegno e Settimo Torinese. L’obiettivo del bando è quello di rafforzare e promuovere attività di welfare culturale, creando partenariati integrati e sviluppando competenze. Mirando a trasformare esperienze culturali in abitudini familiari, il progetto punta dunque a politiche sostenibili per il benessere dei bambini e della comunità.
A year of research to support the planning of future cultural welfare actions in libraries
The Project
Why?
The SBAM approached BAM! to fully understand the needs and expectations of the beneficiaries of the project activities, including the children as well as the parents and other staff involved. This makes it possible to plan future actions more suited to the needs of families and children, ensuring effective and lasting engagement.
How?
BAM!’s involvement in the SBAM projects supported by the “Cultura per Crescere” tender comprises two main phases: the context analysis and the survey on the characteristics and needs of the beneficiaries.
For the context analysis, secondary sources will be used to understand the territorial, social and cultural context of the Turin metropolitan area, with possible national comparisons. This will make it possible to identify trends, needs and strengths in the area.
Subsequently, a survey of beneficiaries will be carried out through questionnaires administered to participating families and a meeting with local operators to further investigate more delicate situations. This will make it possible to understand their needs and develop guidelines for future activities.
