A free digital culture services kit

BAM! Strategie Culturali and Archiui have joined forces and are offering mentoring services for museums and archives looking for a digital strategy during the time of coronavirus.

The unprecedented situation we have been living through here over the last month is redefining the sense, boundaries and even the mission itself of cultural institutions. However, ever since museums, cinemas and theatres shut their doors, the doors of digital communication have been thrown open, as the best way for these institutions to communication with their audiences.

In response to this period in time, BAM! has decided to offer a package of free digital strategy guidance and launching services for cultural institutions. This is a way of working alongside organisations that are wondering which content to promote, which channels to use in order to do so and which audience to communicate with.

It is essential to have a strategy. Without one you risk putting huge amounts of effort into impromptu communication, which is lacking in follow-ups, unsuitable for the nature of the institution, the audience and the message to be conveyed. Examples of cases such as these are multiplying at the moment during the race to produce online content.

We are therefore reinforcing our relationship with Promemoria, an ideal partner when it comes to digitalising historical and cultural heritage. Indeed, the services offered by BAM! go hand in hand with the opportunity to activate the PRO version of Archiui free of charge until 1 July 2020. This is the digital environment that has been developed by Promemoria for the integrated cataloguing, publication and promotion of cultural assets. It is an innovative digital collection management tool, designed for archives, museums, theatres, festivals and cultural projects in general.

The strategic mentoring offered by BAM! and Archiui PRO are free services, which can be activated together or separately until 1 July 2020. Click here to request them.
