Take part in the “A destino” workshop, a theatre and citizenry project for 2 August
“A destino” is a project, a collective action, a civil theatrical rite for 2 August, the day for commemorating the victims of the Bologna Massacre. None of them could complete that journey, which was left suspended so to speak. In order to do so, we need you!
Who we’re looking for
Eighty-five people – anyone who would like to undertake this workshop course on the history and human dimensions of 2 August. Participants aged six and over will be welcome, even those with no theatre experience.
What we’ll do together
Through theatrical exercises organised by Teatro dell’’Argine, we’ll ask ourselves about our relationship with what happened on 2 August 1980 at Bologna Central Station and what this day of commemoration represents today.
What have I got to do with 2 August? Why does 2 August regard all of us?
At a certain point along the way, willing participants will actually set out to complete the suspended journeys. Each journey will be documented by the person who undertakes it and a video account of this journey, together with the materials produced during the workshop, will be presented on 2 August 2022.
When and where will the workshop take place?
- Once a week: every Thursday from 9 June to 28 July 2022 from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.; Monday 1 August 2022 from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Tuesday 2 August (times to be confirmed)
- at the Bologna Attiva space at DumBO (Via Camillo Casarini 19, 40131 Bologna).
- the meetings are completely free of charge, with no fee to be paid.
The call for participants is open until 6 June! Register here
