Thursday 10 and Friday 11 December: an online event to learn about Open Vicoli, the cultural rediscovery and regeneration project based in the historical centre of Genoa, which is now drawing to an end.
Two days of public meetings and presentations online for everyone involved in the project, to take stock of the process and reach an agreement regarding the future of the historical centre of Liguria’s capital, making time to talk about what has been achieved and discuss how to continue working as a network.
Open Vicoli is the project funded by the Open Community tender of Compagnia di San Paolo. BAM! has been working on it for the last two years, supporting the construction of a network of partnerships between public and private bodies with the objective of trying out different engagement and participation models, drawing in communities that are often excluded from the use of cultural heritage.
During the two days of meetings, which you are all invited to attend, we will try to illustrate the value of the network in a project that has united museums, social groups and cultural associations that are based or operate in the streets of Genoa’s historical centre.
