Engaging new audiences through making: pilot projects at the Musei Civici in Imola

By 5 April 2022No Comments

CREMA, the European project that focuses on developing new adult education methods in museums through creative practices, comes to the Musei Civici in Imola with three experimental activities.

From 5 to 26 March, the Musei Civici in Imola will be hosting manual and creative workshops open to everyone. This is one of the activities developed by BAM! Strategie Culturali for CREMA (Creative Making for Lifelong Learning), the project funded as part of the European Erasmus+ programme. As a partner in the project, BAM! has the task of coming up with guidelines for the engagement of new audiences through the development of creative activities in museums.

This activity, developed together with the Musei Civici in Imola and in collaboration with Ar.co Wood Workshop is an opportunity for adult audiences to have new experiences, try out new activities and learn workshop techniques, creating and imagining with the works that inhabit museums.

The first event, a 3D scanning workshop, took place on Saturday 19 February and brought the participants into direct contact with the world of digitising objects, to be precise, archaeological finds from ancient Imola.
