Acknowledging that you’re violent so that you can break away from it: with the Servizio Pari Opportunità della Regione Emilia-Romagna (Equal Opportunities Service), we designed and created a campaign that aims to raise awareness about the presence of the many anti-violence centres in the area, which provide support for fundamental care practices in the fight against violence against women.
Starting with violent men to tackle a problem that regards us all, with a digital and online communication project.
The Project
Why?
The importance of a campaign such as this lies in entirely in the issue it intends to tackle: violence against women can and must be fought, starting with those who perpetrate it.
How?
A simple concept and an approach based on dialogue: with understanding and no judgement, the campaign talks to the men responsible for this violence, but also to the community as a whole.
Through posters, brochures, posts and an animated video, the communication project covered both offline spaces and channels as well as social media and the Regione Emilia-Romagna website.
