The Fondazione Parco Archeologico di Classe – RavennAntica commissioned BAM! to develop a specific communication strategy for digital channels and the press office to promote the opening of two new sections of Classis Ravenna – Museo della città e del Territorio and to relaunch the museum as a whole.
Supporting Fondazione RavennAntica in communicating the opening of the new sections “Pregare a Ravenna” and “Abitare a Ravenna”
The Project
Why?
The former sugar factory in Classe, a suburb of Ravenna, was transformed into a museum in 2018 thanks to a major industrial archaeology project.
Today, as part of a development project financed by the Ministry of Culture, the Fondazione RavennAntica is setting up two new exhibition sections in the Classis museum, “Abitare a Ravenna” (Living in Ravenna) and “Pregare a Ravenna” (Praying in Ravenna), where mosaics from archaeological sites in Ravenna and beyond will play a leading role.
The new thematic insights are aimed not only at enhancing the museum’s exhibition spaces, but also at completing the historical narrative on the city of Ravenna and the surrounding area by returning the restored exhibits to the public.
How?
BAM! was commissioned by the Fondazione to develop a series of integrated communication services, both offline and online, with the aim of encouraging participation in the opening event and the enjoyment of this important extension among different audiences: regular and potential visitors, experts in the field but also families and young people from the local area.
BAM! is specifically taking care of the communication campaign for the forthcoming opening of the exhibition rooms “Abitare a Ravenna” and “Pregare a Ravenna”, dealing with:
- context analysis and integrated communication strategy
- creativity (pay-off and coordinated image for the launch campaign and social media campaigns before and after the opening of the new rooms)
- media planning
- press office
- social media management
- digital advertising
Save the date! The opening event will take place on Friday 29 September 2023.
